Donation Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our Commitment to Responsible Giving
The Oba Fidipote Royal Descendants Foundation appreciates every contribution made in support of our mission.
We aim to process donations accurately, acknowledge contributions appropriately, and provide a clear process for resolving donation errors and managing recurring gifts.
1. General Donation Policy
Charitable contributions are generally intended to support the Foundation’s mission and approved activities.
Because donations may be allocated or committed to charitable purposes, donations are not automatically refundable. Requests will be considered according to the circumstances, applicable law, payment-provider rules, and any restrictions attached to the gift.
2. Accidental or Duplicate Donations
If you believe you made a donation in error, submitted a duplicate payment, or entered an incorrect amount, please contact us as soon as possible.
Include, where available:
- Your name.
- Donation date.
- Donation amount.
- Transaction reference.
- A brief explanation of the issue.
Please do not email full payment-card numbers or security codes.
3. Refund Requests

The Foundation will review each request and communicate its decision. Approved refunds will generally be returned through the original payment method where possible.
Processing times may depend on the payment provider and financial institution.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that donors may have under applicable law.
4. Recurring Donations
Donors who have established recurring contributions may request cancellation of future payments.
Please contact us before the next scheduled payment, allowing reasonable processing time.
If recurring payments are managed directly through a payment provider, you may also need to manage your subscription through that provider’s account or cancellation process.
Cancelling a recurring donation does not automatically refund earlier contributions.
5. Event Tickets and Program Fees
If the Foundation charges for an event, ticket, or specific activity, the applicable event terms will govern cancellations and refunds.
Any separate refund deadlines or conditions should be clearly disclosed before payment.
6. Restricted Donations
Where a donor has designated a gift for a particular charitable purpose, the Foundation will handle the contribution in accordance with the agreed restrictions and applicable law.
If the specified purpose becomes impracticable or cannot be fulfilled, the Foundation will handle the matter in accordance with the applicable gift terms and legal requirements.
7. Donation Receipts
Donors may receive acknowledgements or receipts for their contributions. Please contact us if you need a receipt corrected or resent.
